As an overview of Holden, Holden has traits that go in many different categories. Most lie in what a trouble teen is. Some traits go to disturbed, and maybe a quarter with psychotic. Trouble teen would be those kind who swear/curse, fidgets, smartass to adults, smokes, etc. More than half of those of traits go into the disturbed teen. There is a thin line between troubled and disturbed. I would say Holden is both. He smokes and tries to drink, fails his classes, swears and curses, and wanders aimlessly. To test and make sure that he is in the line between troubled and disturbed teen,  I asked Holen a few questions. I asked him what makes him angry or frustrated. He told me, like all the other reponses, that he hate phonies and cannot get enough of them. He told me how much he wants to skin them alive or at least make them go away. I jotted that response down as a disturbed teen. I asked another question, I asked if he's ever did a ritual before doing something, he told me that  he does have some nervous habits, like flicking on and off lights before going into a room, turning the doorknob a few times before actually opening the door. I note that one as troubled. I asked if he's visited is families recently and how he feels about them, he said he doesn't want to visit them, they don't need him and he doesn't need them. He never told me how lonely he felt but I could tell he was, I put that reponse in troubled teen.
