Holden's been mentioning his past experiences a lot during this interview, most of Holden's past sounding really depressing. Not a lot of happy moments, maybe even none at all. I asked him if there's something he's doing now that he's done in the past, something that influenced his daily life now or someone whom he cares about. He told me that his bad grades and personality at school is what's made him who he is now, roaming around cities with no place to stay, too ashamed to go to his family for help.I asked him if he's recently been into anyone, like liking someone. He mentioned someone called Jane Gallagher. He smiled when he talked about her, she seemed really special to him since every time I asked something related to her, he would always change from angry and annoyed to reminiscent.I asked was there something the girl and him did before. He replied by talking about something relating to playing chess when he was younger. How she would always keep her kings at the back and never move them, she thought they would die if she moved them somewhere else or into a wrong spot. He talked about how she and him were very close and if something bad happened to Jane, he would be there comforting her all the time. He smiled and ended the conversation.
